WOOZE are a band that never fail to impress us here at TMR. Catapulting closer to the release of their new EP Get Me To A Nunnery (due out via Young Poet on the 22nd of October), 'Tu Es Moi' is its energetic sophomore single. Following the bludgeoning 'Witch Slap (IOU)', which arrived alongside an extremely tight live video, 'Tu Es Moi' is a concise cross section of WOOZE's polished yet eccentric sound. Lyrically on a par with some of Sparks most left-field offerings, the band explain: “('Tu Es Moi' is) Another pun-based fun chasing song that riffs off the French ambiguity between the phrases ‘you are me’ and ‘kill me’. It’s written from the perspective of a jealous, ambitious, and most probably adolescent rival. Another song that we finished very quickly in an afternoon, and is the oldest song on this EP, written a few years ago when we first started WOOZE.” -Holly Mullineaux
